この計画はものづくりをしている方に借りてもらいたいというオーナーの意向により住みながら作品を制作しその制作自体を人々に見てもらえるような「家をひらく」ことができる計画としています。おおらかな曲線を描く大きなシルバーのカーテンによって部屋を奥行き方向に半分に仕切り、さらには床にレンガを敷き詰めて家の中にパブリックが迷い込んだような小さな通りを部屋の奥へ引き込んでいます。新国立競技場近くという洗練された街の一角にある小さな部屋だからこそできる「生活しながら自分を表現する」生き方を支える空間を目指しました。

This project was designed in response to the owner’s wish to rent the space to someone involved in making things—a creator who could live and work here. The goal was to create a house that “opens itself” to others, allowing people to witness the creative process as part of daily life.A large, gently curved silver curtain divides the room in half along its depth, creating a fluid boundary between private and public zones. Brick flooring extends inward from the entrance, drawing a small passage into the space—as if a quiet street has wandered into the house.Located in a refined neighborhood near the New National Stadium, the project aims to support a lifestyle of “living while expressing oneself”—a way of life made possible precisely because of this small, urban setting.
